Photographs in and around Langebaan

We went to Tzaars bank on Sunday 24 Jan 2010 to walk to the Shipwreck of the Pantalis a Lemos. It was a beautiful morning. On our way there I first stopped at “Die Paaltjies” and later at Kraal baai to  take pictures. Here are some of the pictures.

This was  an ore carrier, which went aground in 1978. It is situated near Tzaars Bank in the West Coast National Park. Although it is only about 3Km from Tzaarsbank it takes you about an hour to walk to the ship. The sand on the beach is very loose which makes walking slow and hard. On our way there we took some photographs so it took us 90 minutes to walk there. On our way back we tried walk faster and it still took us an hour.

  1. Great pics – I love the one of the hermit crab and the one of the wreck – makes me feel like I’m there! I have linked to this post in one of my own – http://allthingschildren.blogspot.com/2011/10/west-coast-national-park.html

    Take care,
