Improved facilities at Tzaars Bank

Today was one of those lovely winter days. Not a cloud in the sky and almost not a breeze in the air.

One such lovely days you cannot sit at home. We decided to go for a braai at Tzaars bank in the West Coast National Park.

As far as I can remember the last time we visited Tzaars bank was more than 6 months ago. When we arrived there I was pleasantly surprised. Parks Board made some improvements in the area. There are new wooden barriers and they have build new braai facilities for visitors.  This looks much neater and cleaner than previously.

Today was very quiet there. Besides us there were only one other vehicle that went for the day.

We just relaxed, read books, take pictures, walk on the beach and braaid some meat with fresh baked bread which we picked up at the Spar on our way there.

The sea was a lovely deep blue colour with spectacular waves.

The new facilities at “Die Preekstoel” also looks very nice. I nether had the opportunity to photograph it but today I made a point to stop and take photographs.
